4Ever Young Med Spa in Park City offers innovative hormone and peptide treatments, aiming to transform wellness for all ages.
PARK CITY, Utah — After enduring a frustrating visit to his doctor two and a half years ago, Mike Burchard found himself grappling with persistent body pain and debilitating fatigue. Expecting to receive medical support, Burchard was instead dismissed with the comment, "You’re a 55-year-old man. That’s life for you now." This brush-off ignited a quest for solutions that ultimately led him and his wife, Meghan, to establish the 4Ever Young Med Spa and Wellness Center in Park City, a venture aimed at bridging significant gaps in local healthcare.
The Burchards identified a need in their community for comprehensive hormone replacement therapy, peptide treatments, and a variety of aesthetic services—all accessible under one roof. Mike’s challenges began when his blood tests revealed low testosterone levels. However, as he was still technically within the ‘normal’ range, his physician declined to prescribe hormone replacement therapy. This experience spurred him to explore franchise opportunities in the hormone therapy field, ultimately leading to the birth of their med spa.
"This is not my background; I’m in real estate, so I needed help," Mike shared. "It was more about finding a personal need and realizing that this would be a great service for our community." After assessing various options, the couple chose to partner with Florida-based 4Ever Young, flying to the state for interviews to ensure they were a good fit for the franchise.
The decision to open a medical spa may seem surprising, especially considering the couple’s busy lives—raising two-year-old twins and managing careers. Meghan operates a children’s clothing store, Minnows, while Mike continues his real estate work. Nonetheless, they were determined to create a resource that could offer holistic solutions to those facing similar health challenges.
4Ever Young Med Spa offers traditional aesthetic procedures, including Botox and fillers, but the Burchards are enthusiastic about introducing their clients to hormone replacement therapy and peptide treatments. "Everyone knows Botox; everyone knows the fillers," Meghan noted. "I think once we educate the community on hormone therapy and peptides, they will understand their value."
Meghan underwent extensive training in Boca Raton, Florida, primarily focusing on the aesthetic side of their services. However, through her experiences, she became an advocate for the wellness offerings. "Say someone comes in for Botox and she’s exhausted; we suggest getting a blood test to check her hormone levels. That’s what I did, and now I’m on a peptide that has significantly improved my sleep and helped me shed stubborn post-pregnancy weight," she explained.
Peptides, which are chains of amino acids found naturally in the body, serve as messengers that instruct the body to perform specific functions. Differing from conventional medications that often mask symptoms, peptides work in harmony with the body’s existing systems. "They’re not drugs; they target specific areas in the body and communicate necessary messages," Mike clarified, adding that various peptides serve different purposes, from promoting growth hormone production to enhancing skin elasticity and reducing inflammation. Treatments typically involve subcutaneous injections administered in a specific schedule.
The Burchards emphasize that all treatments at 4Ever Young are approached with a medical mindset. Each hormone or peptide therapy begins with a thorough blood test, and the center has assembled a highly qualified team, including a nurse practitioner with 12 years of experience, a master aesthetician, a registered nurse, and a medical director.
Meghan cautioned against sourcing peptides from unregulated online sources, warning that the quality and efficacy of such products cannot be guaranteed. The center specifically caters to clients experiencing symptoms of hormonal imbalance, such as fatigue, poor sleep, low libido, erectile dysfunction, and unexplained body soreness.
"People often think that feeling different as they age is normal, but you don’t have to accept it," Meghan stated, asserting that individuals can optimize their health at any age. Mike, now 58, has experienced a remarkable transformation through the therapies offered at the spa. "I feel like I’m 35 again. I have more energy than I had 20 years ago. Traditional medicine often tells you to accept your declining health, but we want to change that narrative," he remarked.
In addition to offering treatments, the Burchards are committed to educating the community. They plan to host bimonthly seminars covering topics related to hormone therapy, peptides, and new aesthetic treatments. For Mike, this new venture is more than just a business; it’s an extension of his lifelong commitment to health, a passion that began during his college football days in Santa Monica, California.
"I’ve always explored new health options to see if they could help me, and with these hormone and peptide treatments, we witness incredible transformations in our clients’ lives—like men losing 40 pounds and gaining muscle, positively changing their lives," he shared.
Located at 1635 Redstone Center Dr #120 in Park City, 4Ever Young Med Spa and Wellness Center is now accepting appointments.
