Snowfall Brings Joy to Skiers and Resorts Across Utah's Canyons
Skiers and snowboarders in Utah celebrate new snowfall in the canyons, with more expected this weekend.

Snowfall has begun in the canyons of Utah, bringing excitement to skiers and snowboarders eager to hit the slopes. At Solitude, not all runs are open yet, but the recent weather is expected to change that. Big Cottonwood Canyon is forecasted to receive approximately 12 inches of snow overnight, with an additional 8 inches anticipated on Saturday night. This fresh snowfall is likely to open more terrain for winter sports enthusiasts. Visitors from Arizona, who traveled for the holiday to ski, were initially uncertain about the snow conditions. However, the Ethridge family expressed relief as they noted the snowfall, indicating their anticipation for the new powder. The snowfall has also impacted the UTA Ski Buses, leading to some delays on Friday morning. Despite this, many visitors are waiting in line to enjoy what is known as the "Greatest Snow on Earth."
