Park City Mountain has officially unveiled an enticing series of night skiing and themed dinner events for the 2025-26 winter season, aimed at enhancing community engagement and providing unique experiences for locals and visitors alike. Located at Mountain Village, the resort is set to host three specially themed nights that will feature live entertainment and a buffet dinner at the Legacy Lodge. This initiative not only aims to cater to the demand for night skiing but also seeks to support local nonprofit organizations by donating a portion of the ticket sales from each event. The resort expressed its commitment to the local community in a statement, saying, "These special nights are a nod to Park City Mountain’s history and a thank-you to the local community, who has asked for night skiing opportunities. We’ve listened to that feedback, which is why we are creating these events that are intended to build community by offering an affordable and unique way to experience the mountain after dark with your friends and family." The upcoming schedule includes two community dinner and ski nights on February 6 and March 13, where tickets will be priced at just $10 for both the meal and skiing. For those who hold an EpicPass, skiing will be complimentary, although registration is still required. Each evening will accommodate the first 500 participants who sign up. These events are expected to be popular given the reasonable pricing and the unique experience they offer. On February 6, the night will have a Winter Olympics theme, aligning with the excitement of the global sporting event. Attendees can ski alongside Paralympians from the National Ability Center and watch the Opening Ceremonies broadcast live on screens at Legacy Lodge. The dinner menu for this event will include spaghetti and meatballs (or a roasted vegetable option), garlic bread, a fresh salad, cookies, brownies, and hot cocoa, ensuring a hearty meal after an evening of skiing. Registration for this event can be completed online, and with the anticipated interest, early sign-up is recommended. The following community night on March 13 will embrace a more playful theme, titled “Friday the 13th.” This evening will feature tarot card readers and live music on the Payday deck, creating a festive atmosphere where guests can enjoy not just skiing but also entertainment. The dinner menu will include homemade lasagna—both meat and vegetarian options—alongside garlic bread, a Caesar salad with focaccia croutons, and a delicious tiramisu for dessert. Registration for this event will open in early March, encouraging attendees to keep an eye on updates. For both nights, lift tickets are priced at $10, while Epic Pass holders will ski for free, provided they register. It's important to note that day passes will not be valid for these night skiing events, and attendees will need to purchase a separate night ticket. In addition, dinner tickets, which include food and non-alcoholic beverages, are available for $10, and ski and snowboard rentals will be offered at a reasonable rate of $15. Check-in for guests will occur between 5:00 and 6:30 p.m., with the skiing and dinner buffet available from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m. The First Time and Payday lifts will be operational during these times, providing easy access to the slopes. In addition to the community nights, Park City Mountain will also host the National Ability Center’s “Friday Night Lights Ski-a-Thon” on February 27. This special event serves as a fundraiser to help veterans, service members, and their families continue to access adaptive recreational activities. More information about this important event can be found on the National Ability Center’s website, further emphasizing Park City Mountain's dedication to supporting the community. As the winter season approaches, these night skiing and dinner events stand out as an excellent opportunity for families and friends to come together, enjoy the beauty of Park City’s winter landscape, and engage with the local community. With an emphasis on affordability and accessibility, these events are sure to attract a diverse group of participants seeking memorable experiences on the slopes after dark. Park City Mountain’s efforts to listen to community feedback and create special events that cater to local needs reflect its commitment to being more than just a ski resort, but a central hub for community engagement and enjoyment during the winter season.
