Touting 'significant' water savings, Utah House passes bill requiring secondary meters – Utah News (kutv.com)

A bill touted as one of the most significant ways to save water amid a historic drought passed the Utah House of Representatives. House Bill 242, sponsored by Rep. Val Peterson (R-Orem), passed 58 to 14 late Monday afternoon after lengthy debate. The bill now moves to the Senate for consideration. The bill would require pressurized secondary water systems to install meters to track water usage by 2030.
