Jazz lift Vivint Arena's COVID-19 vaccine requirement – Utah News (www.ksl.com)

The Utah Jazz are lifting their vaccination requirement.

The team announced Tuesday fans will no longer be asked to show proof of full vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test to gain access into the arena. The new policy will begin on Feb. 25 for Utah’s next home game.

Masks will still be recommended, but for most of the arena they won’t be required. The exception is for fans who are sitting near the court. Due to NBA health and safety protocols, designated sections surrounding the court will still be required to mask up.

The Jazz first made the vaccination or negative test requirement ahead of the 2021-22 season. The team also required masks during the 2020-21 season.

While the Jazz will no longer have a vaccine requirement for their games, some concerts and acts may still require it for attendance.
