Stephanie Schweitzer's tattoo celebrates Park City's culture and her personal journey as an artist.
A new tattoo in Park City showcases a yeti skiing in a beanie, a snowcat grooming trails, and various characters inspired by local culture. Stephanie Schweitzer, the owner of Schweitzer Designs, dedicated 53 hours to complete this intricate piece, traveling to Massachusetts monthly for a year to collaborate with Timmy B from Nite Owl Tattoo. The tattoo serves as a tribute to Park City, incorporating insider nods and personal elements that reflect her deep connection to the area. Stephanie's family has been skiing in Park City for 35 years, and she has taken over the family timeshare at the base of Park City Mountain Resort. Her background in art began at West Virginia University, where she shifted her focus from music to graphic design. After interning at Audi in 2011, she built an internal creative team, ultimately serving as a senior graphic designer and internal brand photographer. Her work on "An Avant Story," a short film for Audi, received multiple awards, highlighting her contributions to the brand. In 2024, she founded Schweitzer Designs, a luxury-brand design company that has gained recognition from major publications like Rolling Stone and Vogue. Stephanie continues to explore Park City, emphasizing its history and charm, as she works on new creative projects.
