PROVO, Utah – A local meat processing business in Provo experienced a total loss due to a fire that occurred late Monday night into Tuesday morning. The fire destroyed the facility housing Ford's Locker and NovaInk, located near 800 North and 500 West. Ford's Locker is known for producing jerky and dog treats while also processing wild game for local customers.
On Sunday, the business communicated through their Facebook page that all wild game entrusted to them was lost in the fire. They expressed understanding of the emotional impact this has on many families and shared in their grief. The owners are currently navigating a challenging situation filled with uncertainty, as they are awaiting the results of an investigation and working through insurance matters. They indicated that the timeline for resolution remains unclear.
In light of the disaster, Ford's Locker has received numerous calls from concerned customers.
