Park City Miners Shine with Four All-State Football Honors in 2025
Four Park City High School football players achieve All-State honors, marking a significant season for the team.

PARK CITY, Utah — The Park City High School football team is celebrating the recognition of four players who made the Deseret News 2025 Class 4A All-State team. This honor underscores their exceptional performances throughout the season. Senior Wyatt Knapp earned First Team honors as an outside linebacker, distinguishing himself as one of the top defenders in Utah's 4A classification. His selection reflects not only his individual talent but also his contributions to the team's overall defense.
Linebacker Ben Souza received Second Team honors at middle linebacker, playing a crucial role in the Miners’ defense with an impressive average of 10.9 tackles per game. His consistency and defensive skills were vital for the team's success this season. Tanner Pidwell, who transitioned from soccer to football, was also named to the Second Team as a punter. Pidwell has achieved a national ranking of #11 as a kicker, demonstrating his strong performance in a new sport.
Eli Warner completes the list of All-State selections for the Miners with an Honorable Mention as an athlete. Warner exceeded national averages in both rushing and receiving yards per game, averaging 46.6 and 63.9 yards, respectively. This remarkable achievement highlights his versatility and effectiveness on the field.
The Deseret News All-State teams are determined through a comprehensive selection process that includes coaches from around the state.
