Park City Cirque, featuring the talents of Michael DuBois and Viktoria Grimmy, continues its end-of-the-year tradition at the Egyptian Theatre. The variety show includes elements of acrobatics, juggling, and comedy, aimed at audiences of all ages. Following a successful debut last year, which saw sold-out performances, the duo is excited for another six-day run, starting this Friday. DuBois expressed enthusiasm for performing in one location for several nights, allowing them to focus on the show rather than the logistics of travel. This year’s performances will include favorite segments along with some new and modified routines. The interactive nature of their show often leads to a different experience with each performance, creating a unique atmosphere for the audience. Both DuBois and Grimmy have extensive backgrounds in performance, having appeared in notable productions such as "The Greatest Showman" and various late-night television shows. Grimmy also comes from a lineage of circus performers and has Broadway experience, including her role in the award-winning show "Pippin." Their act blends individual talents with collaborative routines, showcasing variety and audience engagement. The couple has been performing together full-time for 17 years and emphasizes the importance of maintaining their skills. They have adapted their practice routines to accommodate different performance environments and climates, ensuring they are prepared for each show. The Egyptian Theatre has become a favorite venue for both artists, providing a warm and supportive atmosphere. They appreciate the community's engagement with the arts, especially during challenging times for theater funding. DuBois aims to bring joy and laughter to audiences, highlighting the significance of live performance in bringing people together. The upcoming shows run daily at 8 p.m. through December 31, with additional matinee performances at 3 p.m. on weekends. Tickets are available for purchase online or by phone.
