Park City is gearing up for New Year 2026 with parades, fireworks, and festive activities.

PARK CITY, UT — Park City is set to welcome 2026 with a blend of mountain traditions and Main Street festivities. The celebrations will include torchlight parades, fireworks displays, and live entertainment, inviting both locals and visitors to partake in the holiday spirit. Key highlights for New Year’s week include: On Friday, December 26, the Park City Art & Music Gallery Stroll will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. This event offers free admission to participating galleries along Main Street, featuring art, food, drinks, and music at venues marked by Park City Gallery Association flags. On Tuesday, December 30, Deer Valley Resort will host its annual Torchlight Parade at approximately 6 p.m. on the Big Stick ski run. Hot chocolate, cider, and cookies will be served at Snow Park Plaza from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., culminating with a fireworks display. The main New Year’s Eve events on Wednesday, December 31, include a celebration at Park City Mountain Canyons Village featuring live music, family-friendly activities, and a fireworks show. The final performance of Park City Cirque will be held at The Egyptian Theatre that evening. Dining specials will be available throughout the town, and reservations are recommended. Ongoing activities through New Year’s include the Snow Globe Art Stroll, which features seven life-sized snow globes created by local artists along Main Street, each containing a hidden silver snowflake. The Après Pendry will offer daily live music from 5 to 8 p.m. through January 4, providing a cozy atmosphere with fireside seating, drinks, and comfort food. Additionally, the Create PC Holiday Makers Market at the Arts Council of Park City & Summit County will showcase local artists and entrepreneurs daily from noon to 6 p.m. until February 1. Daily winter activities include the Park City Mountain Canyons Village Gondola Art Stroll with six art installations in retired Red Pine Gondola cabins, Après activities at the Airstream at Canyons Village’s Umbrella Bar, snowshoeing, winter hiking, scenic gondola rides, and tubing. The Woodward Action Sports Hub features various sports facilities including trampoline and parkour gyms. Park City also offers award-winning dining, shopping, luxury spas, and cultural attractions, enhancing the winter experience beyond skiing.
