Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain are unveiling major improvements for the 2025-26 ski season, enhancing guest experiences.
The 2025-26 ski season promises significant advancements at Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain, enhancing the experience for locals and visitors alike. The season features expanded terrain, upgraded amenities, and new operational enhancements aimed at improving guest satisfaction.
Deer Valley Resort is set to unveil a major expansion in the East Village, marking one of the largest terrain additions in recent history. New lifts, trails, and access points will allow skiers to explore previously untouched areas of the mountain. A notable feature is the introduction of the Noon Groom program, which keeps select runs closed until midday to provide skiers with freshly groomed corduroy later in the day. This innovative approach aims to enhance the skiing experience and reduce crowding.
At Park City Mountain, significant lift upgrades will improve access across the largest ski area in the United States. Enhanced snowmaking capabilities and terrain improvements will cater to a variety of skill levels, providing families and adventure seekers with ample opportunities to explore the mountain.
The new Sunrise Gondola, which spans 6,500 feet and accommodates 10 passengers, will enhance lift access from Canyons Village to Red Pine Lodge, alleviating congestion and minimizing wait times. Additionally, the Moose Camp learning area near Red Pine Lodge has been redesigned to support beginner skiers, featuring new magic carpets and a children’s lunchroom.
Park City Mountain is also improving its parking and access strategies, introducing the Canyons Lower Village Garage, which will offer two levels of free parking. This new plan aims to manage skier traffic and improve guest flow throughout the resort.
Overall, the 2025-26 season is characterized by a commitment to enhancing the skiing experience, focusing on sustainability, accessibility, and guest satisfaction. Both resorts are poised to provide unforgettable experiences in Utah's iconic winter landscape.
