PARK CITY, Utah — Park City Mountain Resort has officially opened the first two levels of the newly constructed Canyons Lower Village Parking Garage, providing over 650 parking spaces for visitors. This announcement came on Tuesday, signaling a significant step forward in the resort's ongoing expansion efforts aimed at enhancing visitor accessibility and convenience. The facility will offer free parking for the current season, with no requirement for reservations. Travelers can easily access the garage without the usual constraints, making it a practical option for guests coming to the popular destination. The accessibility of the garage is expected to alleviate congestion in other parking areas during peak times, allowing for smoother travel experiences. While the third level of the garage is structurally complete, it will serve as a snow-bearing roof rather than as additional parking at this time. The lack of escalators and elevators currently installed means that visitors will need to utilize stair access until further enhancements are made. Park City Mountain Resort representatives emphasized that this project is part of a multi-year initiative, with expectations that the remaining three levels and additional amenities will be completed before the 2026-27 season.
